In America, the legal profession has been traditionally dominated by white males. In that sense, it is very much a “man’s world”. However, this situation is slowly changing. A fast-growing number of women are entering law school at colleges and universities across the country in increasing numbers each year – and this trend should continue for quite some time to come. Currently there are over 51% more women than men practicing law in the U.S., while according to recent data from The American Bar Association (ABA), 27% of all lawyers under age 40 were female last year alone!
It seems like young women today want their own slice of the action when it comes to careers in Law: take me out on dates with lawyers?
