Best Towns In Canada For Lawyers?

As with most things, the best town for lawyers may be different depending on your needs. Talk to some of our local attorneys about what type of law they practice in Canada and whether or not it is a large firm. We have found that smaller firms are more focused on client service skills while larger firms tend to focus on quantity over quality, i.e., having many graduates produced per year instead of fewer but better qualified graduates per year (in other words; getting an associate each year at the expense of producing only one lawyer with higher levels of skill). This can make it hard if you require personal attention from one attorney when dealing with very complicated cases (i.e., murder trials), which is why we recommend looking into smaller offices if this sounds like something you might want to do in the future.
