The American Bar Association’s Section on Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar (ABA-SEAB) has a user-friendly database that allows you to search for schools based on key criteria such as average LSAT score, student body demographics, tuition costs and scholarships. The ABA offers plenty of other resources online, including free sample questions from bar preparation courses like Foundations in Law Study (FLS), which provides study tools for law students preparing for the bar exam.

As an aside: If you’re looking at applying through an ABA approved school, be sure your state’s board of governors is recognized by the association. Although there are no legal consequences associated with getting admitted without authorization from its members states’ boards of governors and can still be very expensive—many private schools require full payment up front before they will admit you—you should check first!
