The Huawei Mate 9 is insanely fast for a phone. The screen isn’t quite as good as the new iPhone 7 Plus, but it’s still excellent. Battery life could be better, possibly with an extra battery pack, but you can charge on your PC or at your desk so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
One thing I hate about this phone is that both volume buttons are physical and not capacitive buttons like standard Android phones have. Why do some companies think they need to change everything? It would have been nice just to use capacitive volume controls instead of having to press hard on the device each time you want to increase or decrease the volume. I don’t know why more manufacturers aren’t using capacitive control buttons on their devices like Samsung does (see below).
