If you’re planning to go for an MBA, then one of the most important decisions you need to make is about your school. The New York Times mentions that if you choose a top-tier business school like Harvard Business School or Stanford Graduate School of Business, it’s unlikely that its alumni will be able to get jobs at more than 2 percent of Fortune 500 companies in any given year. For the rest of us, though, there are plenty of programs out there with lower admission requirements and better career outcomes for students.
Payscale has compiled data on how much different schools pay their graduates after graduation using information from thousands of student surveys. You can look up the salary figures in each school’s profile by clicking through this link . We’ve also updated our list below based on fresh data gathered between September 2015 and January 2016 only (so these numbers may change over time). We’ll update them again in October 2017 when new salaries come out.
