Best Lawyers Of 2016 For Litigation?

They are, and they include a former White House counsel for President Barack Obama and a former assistant attorney general under the George W. Bush administration who now works at Hogan Lovells in Washington D.C., according to an article from The New York Times published Wednesday evening.

Also on the list of top lawyers is Stephen Gillers, a professor of law at NYU School of Law, who specializes in constitutional law and criminal justice. In addition to having been named one of the best legal minds by Time magazine, Gillers also served as acting director for civil rights enforcement during Bill Clinton’s presidency from February 1993 until June 1994, when he joined the Department of Justice as deputy chief privacy officer before taking his current position at NYU Law.

On Thursday morning, CNN reported that Michael Garcia — currently serving as U.S Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ pick for FBI Director — was also on Trump’s shortlist when it came time to choose candidates for judicial positions including U.S District Judge positions in Alabama and Florida last year (and possibly North Carolina).
