Best Lawyers For Musical Theater?

I’m a big fan of Broadway and musical theater performers. When I think about the A team, it’s usually actors from New York theatre who have been around forever, who have done both plays and musicals. People like Judith Light, Lillias White, Lin-Manuel Miranda. They would be on my list as well as people like Patti LuPone or Leslie Kritzer or Sutton Foster—who is one of my favorites in the world—or more recently Cynthia Erivo. And then you see somebody like Jason Robert Brown going to BAMcafé! He’s only 36 years old and he has written some amazing songs for some amazing shows. So those are all A players for sure!

What was your first concert? How old were you? What did you hear? Who was playing?

My first concert was Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at Madison Square Garden with no seat tickets! It wasn’t even an opening show; we just walked up right before the doors opened and got front row seats where we could watch him walk out on stage to open for Bob Dylan back in 1990. We saw him many times over the next few years at MSG but that’s where most of our concerts started after that: seeing Bruce perform with Eddie Vedder posters hanging behind us every time we went to a show there…
