In a recent survey, LawCrossing asked over 2,000 people from around the world for their thoughts on which jobs were best suited to those who don’t have law degrees. The results were astounding: More than half of respondents chose office jobs as the best start for someone new to working in a legal setting. This is especially interesting when you take into account that most employers prefer candidates with bar certification and years of experience under their belt. Office jobs are always going to be popular – but how much more so if you’re not even looking at them?
Of course, this doesn’t mean that all job seekers should give up on law school or look for non-legal work after graduation – just know what’s out there before you decide anything!
