There are a lot of big law firms that offer very successful legal recruiting, but they will typically only recruit for their own offices. If you want to move up the ranks at one of these large law firms, it can be quite difficult to get your foot in the door even if you have excellent credentials and relevant experience. Moreover, many of these large law firms do not always help with public sector employers because smaller government agencies often won’t pay as much as larger ones. This is why we recommend that most people try to work with small companies first before moving on to bigger ones like this traditional path.
