The Yale Law School is one of the most respected law schools in the country. The school has a long history, and its students have been among those who have gone on to be leaders of their respective fields.
In order for it to maintain that reputation, however, it will need to continue being an institute that attracts top-notch students from all over the world. It also needs to keep up with changing times so as not fall behind other elite law schools. That’s why it may be better off going back to a single exam rather than doing away with grades entirely – this would allow applicants more leeway in their performance and give them more options for selecting a particular school based on their performance alone (instead of having less freedom if they choose poorly).
