Best Accounting Software For Lawyers?

I’m a young lawyer in my mid-20s and I’ve never used an accounting software before. When I was told to use QuickBooks, I didn’t know what it really meant!

After reading through your quick books review (, it seems like the best option for me is QuickBooks Pro2009 Deluxe Edition (formerly known as Intuit 2010). It’s more expensive than some of the other options but that is okay since most small law firms would not need anything better than this version anyway.

Is there something else out there that you guys recommend? Maybe a different inexpensive version or even another free alternative? If so, please feel free to post links here!
